University at Buffalo

Home of a variety of community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, as well as the CIP Amherst, New York provides an ideal setting for exploring the range of college options available to young adults with Asperger's and LD.

Students will reside on the campus of University at Buffalo. UB offers students an abundance of learning choices. With over 380 bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and professional degree programs, and myriad continuing education options, there are more academic opportunities than any other public institution in New York or New England.

The University at Buffalo campus offers teens with Asperger's, other learning differences a chance to experience a taste of independence while residing on campus in a college dormatory. Participants are introduced to the social, academic and independent living skills necessary for success at college and beyond.

The Summer Program in Buffalo gives teens with learning differences an introduction to the College Internship Program's comprehensive curriculum, which includes social thinking, executive functioning and organization, person-centered planning, reframing and more.
